Emilia 1991-1999
and her twin sister
Plina 1991-2000
Our beautiful Emilia was our very first cat. We found her in our neighbor's carport when she was about seven weeks. Her father was a stray cat, and her mother a three-legged all gray beauty. Emilia was so very cute with her big blue eyes that we couldn't resist to take her home. She was raised by Dante and Lillen until she almost behaved like a dog. They played with her, and Dante, who never liked any puppies, adopted her and licked her ears until she was soaking wet. In 1997, when Dante and Lillen were all gone, Lina moved into the house. Emilia nursed Lina the same way Dante nursed her years ago! These guys never were as "cats and dogs"!
Some weeks after Emilia moved in with us, her sister Plina also entered the house. She was a bit shy in the beginning, but when she got older she turned out to be a really cozy cat. Nights when she were in the house, she insisted in sleeping on top of us in the bed. Could be a bit hot in the summer...
Emilia met a car on our road in early 1999. Unfortunately, the car won the race.
About one and a half year later Plina also shared the same destiny as her sister did. She got hit by a car July 19, 2000, and died on our way to the vet.
The two sisters have now left their Kingdom to the youngsters.
